BOMBANANA! Walkthrough
Levels are handcrafted, but every bomb is randomized — so this walkthrough solves problems, not fixed scripts.
Because module states are randomized, a normal “click here then here” walkthrough would lie to you on the second run. This hub takes the problem-focused approach from the PRD: teach the skills each stretch of the campaign demands, and link the reference pages where the actual answers will live once rules are confirmed.
The walkthrough method
- Chapter 1 — Preparing your trio (roles, voice, report vocabulary): how to play.
- Chapter 2 — Reading a bomb: what the deaf monkey reports, how the mute monkey hunts the manual: manual.
- Chapter 3 — Module calling: cable, calculation, direction, switch templates: modules.
- Chapter 4 — Level-specific intel: what players report per level, clearly labelled. Start with Level 5.
What players ask about most
- “How do I play as mute?” — the mute monkey reads the manual; the whole team builds a feedback loop so answers travel back. Roles guide.
- “Level 5 is hard” — the most-searched level in week one; see the Level 5 guide.
- “Is there a manual pdf?” — the manual contents are not published; never trust a “manual pdf” that isn't the real game manual.
- “Can we play with 2 players?” — no: official description says a 3-player co-op team. See the FAQ on the home page.
Fixed scripts vs verified steps
When a specific step is verified and version-stable, this site will publish it with its source. Until then, a guide that promises “level 5: always cut the red wire” is guessing — randomization means there is no always. Trust structure and vocabulary over scripts.
FAQ
Common questions about this topic.
Is there a full level-by-level walkthrough?
Not yet — individual level contents are not officially published, and random states make fixed scripts unreliable. This hub covers preparation, reporting and problem-solving instead.
What is the hardest part of the campaign?
Officially: levels get progressively more difficult. Players most often ask about Level 5 in week one — see our Level 5 page.
How do I get better at reporting?
Use the fixed templates on the module pages: position-first, digit-by-digit, fixed reference frame, confirm before acting.
